As an Advanced Mechanical Engineer for the Torpedo Systems Group (TSG), you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, demonstrating, producing, assembling, testing, and delivering torpedo SONAR arrays and electronic assemblies. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Designing and analyzing components and electro-mechanical assemblies Creating and maintaining mechanical solid models and drawings using SolidWorks Creating and managing bills of material (BOM) within Progeny's data management systems Developing fixtures and equipment to support testing and production efforts. Developing and presenting PowerPoint slides documenting design progress Participating in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis Developing technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer team.

What Sets You Apart: Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals.
